Preventive Care Services
Consistent, quality oral health care allows you to keep smiling with confidence and comfort. Our preventive care services help avoid unwanted plaque, gum disease, and other dental problems. We also offer advice and demonstrations so you can maintain your healthy, vibrant smile at home.
Preventive care is the foundation of your dental health. By maintaining your dental health, potential future problems may be avoided or discovered at an early stage. In addition, any dental procedures you undergo will have greater success with preventive care. That is why we emphasize the importance of recall appointments to all our patients. In addition to checkups and cleanings every six months, we provide you with the knowledge to continue good dental care and hygiene at home.
Cleaning or Hygiene
Our skilled, patient-oriented dental hygienists will clean and floss your teeth to a level you can’t get at home. They will also answer any questions you have for maintaining your oral health between visits. This two-step process is essential for preventing cavities, gingivitis, periodontal disease, halitosis (bad breath), and more, and to discover problems before they worsen.

We recommend visits every six months to maintain optimum health and keep track of any potential problems. More frequent visits may be essential in special circumstances, some of which include pregnancy, periodontal disease, alcohol or tobacco use, diabetes, HIV, etc.
Our role in your oral health is a partnership. To make the best decisions on your own care, you must be educated. We provide an FAQ section as well as a Dental Library for your edification and convenience, and our staff will be happy to discuss any concerns or answer any questions you may have.
