Traditional crowns require not only two visits – one for preparation, one for placement – they usually also require up to four weeks between them. This means wearing a temporary crown for that whole time, risking shifting, sensitivity, or even breaking and loss of the temporary crown. But E4D has changed all that!

Now, Dr. Tau uses this high-tech tool to scan your prepared tooth and send the data to an in-office milling machine, which makes the crown right there on site. He can then custom adjust the shape, color, and polish, and seat the crown in your mouth as quickly as the same day – maybe even the same visit!
